Sculptor Kris Mills and I collaborated on a gallery installation for the Harwood Art Center in
April of 2005. We used text and art to explore the complexities of multiple sclerosis.

Spectrum: Cause, Cure, or Detritus
(the DNA strand on the home page) is an example of our
collaboration. It is made from steel (which Kris bent around a pole) and used Copaxone
needles (from my daily injections) which were filled with various assorted substances related to
the disease. The Weekly Alibi named our exhibit one of the top ten arts events of 2005.
